Technical Support

We have Factory Certified Technicians who are trained in the installation of phone networks and business systems. We resell new and used business telephone systems from small to mid-size businesses. That includes the actual phone systems; TDM & IP-PBX, voicemail systems, additions such as message on hold, battery back-up, headsets, etc.

Benefits of VOIP Phones

There are many benefits of VOIP phones which include cost, functionality, management, and more. If you are looking to install a phone system in your business you might consider voice over IP. This is the best option when you want top of the line technology.

Analog phone lines don’t often tell you who is calling and you have to pay for additional caller ID service. You cannot program your own analog line because you rely solely on the phone company to provide all management for you. When you install VOIP phones lines you get to handle everything yourself. If you want to change the way extension 344 appears when it calls someone you can. You can type in whatever you want to read on the display such as a name, meeting room, or more. All phone extensions can be managed from a computer and you do not have to rely on a technician to arrive to your workplace to set things up or fix things when they are down. VOIP is easy to manage and the entire system of phones can be managed by one person.

You save a lot of money in the long run when you install a VOIP system. It can seem like a lot of money to get started because you have to buy a server, get the lines setup, and buy a VOIP phone for every desk. You cannot use an analog phone on a digital line and vice versa. You have to buy new phones and they can be costly. However, in the long run you are paying for a range of IP addresses rather than each individual analog line that the phone company is charging you for. Eventually you will absorb the costs and begin saving money on your phone systems.

The functionality of VOIP phone lines is phenomenal. You can choose from ring tones as you would on your cell phone. You can do everything from the touch of a button. Most of the phones have a big screen that allows you to manage your settings from the phone itself. Other system settings can be managed from a computer. The IP phone systems sound crystal clear when you talk to someone on the phone. When you use an analog line and you notice a bunch of static it is because packets are lost with analog. This is because analog doesn’t provide the bandwidth that a high speed phone line does, which is why analog lines are not as clear as VOIP phones.

The benefits of VOIP phones surpass analog phone systems by far if you have a big network of people that need their own extension. However, it may not be the best option if you have a small business of only a couple of people because it may not be financially practical. VOIP phone systems are packed with functionality and the management is entirely on you, which makes life easy when you don’t have to wait around on an unreliable phone company to send a technician.
