The SpliceCom business telephone system is a technologically advanced business system that is built to meet the needs of small businesses and the offices of larger corporations. Capable of handling between 4 and 10,000 IP or analogue extensions, the SpliceCom maximiser system has the goal to make its benefits affordable for every organisation.
SpliceCom maximiser is designed to give you consistent and identical results, regardless of your companies; type and size, location, network service delivery, telephone types, LAN infrastructure or Computer platform.
The system is built around four modules- call server, phone module, proactive communication stations, (PCS) and the IP PBX system that offers auto-attendant, voicemail, unified messaging, GSM mobile extensions and call recording as standard features. These features work as well in simple 4- extension dial-tone systems as they do in multi-site installations.
The Proactive Communication Stations, (PCS) are available in a wide selection to increase productivity. They offer the latest version of the world’s first keyless IP Phone. The phone has an integrated, full-size VGA, LCD touch screen and uses icons to control the function, much the same as mobile phones.
The IP Phones, such as the PCS 410, or PCS 100S offer ease of use, like traditional keyed mobile phones, with all of the advantages of IP Telephony. They offer desk-top functionality for surfing the World Wide Web, intranet or web applications, yet offer cost effective options. The PCS 10 display phone with pre-configured access keys or the PCS 5 which is an entry-level business phone completes the range of PCS options.
The SpliceCom IP PBX business telephone system employs the 5100 or 5108 Call Server, which is configured to include and manage all remote or mobile users, as well as employees at the location, like they are on a single system via a standard web browser. This feature appeals to system administrators because it allows them to manage it as a single phone system regardless of how many users are travelling or in the field using mobile or IP Phones.
SpliceCom maximiser uses technology that delivers greater flexibility, scalability and more advanced features than traditional business telephone systems. It can support H.323 and SIP devices concurrently across the single system. SIP Desktop Phones have been tested alongside SIP Wi-Fi phones and calls are passed seamlessly between both types of terminals.
This is fantastic news for businesses wanting to switch gradually to IP Telephony. The system allows integration with existing network infrastructure and your current investment while facilitating a full migration to an IP Phone based structure.
The Call Server, Trunk lines, PBX and phones can be installed in exactly the same locations as the current business telephone system. The Call Server has a QoS (Quality of Service) LAN Switch that ensures voice and data traffic stay on separate networks.
This allows you to move to newer voice technologies and keep your data networks separate. It is possible to use your existing LAN system infrastructure for further cost savings and allows you to reduce the equipment to manage and cable requirements are cut in half.
SpliceCom maximiser business telephone system is a cost effective way for your business to upgrade the voice system technology to IP Telephony, and combine all of your systems into one, enabling easy to manage voice and data system.
