How to monetize your website – Without spending a fortune
First of all I am not a Internet Marketing Guru nor do I make a living online using the World Wide Web.I am by trade a retail Greenhouse Manager. I know plants, trees, shrubs etc. However I am also in charge of the company website.
I have by trial and error taught myself HTML (Hyper Text Machine Language), CSS, PHP and other programs that have enabled me to monetize the companies website. It’s great to be multi-talented!
Do you have a website and are looking to make money from it? Would you like to know how to monetize it without spending a fortune on books, ebooks, or other forms of advertising?
Do you have a niche good content website and are looking for ways to drive targeted traffic?Well this article will help you do just that.
Adsense ads are the best and easiest way to monetize your website. Why? Because it is free to join and the person clicking these ads do NOT have to purchase anything. You make money just by visitors clicking on your adsense ads. Simple and easy money, ooohhh I like that don’t you?
These ads will not make you rich but you can make a decent second income doing this. Some folks actually make a full time living just by having adsense ads on their websites, blogs, forums and other internet media ideas.
First you need an adsense account just go to “google.com” then click on “advertising programs” then click on “Sign Up Now.” Then just follow the directions. It’s easy man….there is that word again “easy”.
You can also make money using clickbank. If you don’t know what that is just type in your favorite search engine “clickbank.com”! Their are tons of affiliate programs that you can use to make money.
Just explore the website and see what the best affiliate program you can use on your niche website.Remember do NOT stuff your web pages with tons of affiliate links and adsense ads.
I can not stress enough the importance of good original content. Your web pages should be about what you know, folks will regard you as an expert and are more likely to click on your adsense ads or affiliate links.
Once you have done this you now need free traffic. This is where most people fail. Ok what is the secret to free targeted traffic? Ok I will tell you right here and now!
S.E.O. It stands for search engine optimization. Most of you probably know what that is. But did you know that it is……… dare I say it……….easy! You don’t need some high priced books or program to do it. You can do it yourself. Here are some tips below.
1. Your title should be about what your website is about. If your web page is about “Body Building for beginners” then your title should be (title)Body Building tips for the beginner(/title)
2. Your description should be: (meta name=”Description” content=”Body Building Tips for Beginners”)
3. Your keywords should be: (meta name=”KeyWords” content=”body building tips, body building, body building for beginners, body building free weights”)
4. You should now write your web page in the most natural easy going be yourself writing you can possibly do. Be sure to inject some of the keywords into your subject matter. Do NOT over optimize your keywords. Be yourself and write as if you were talking to me it really is…oh crap here it is again…easy.
5. Now write an article about your niche. Our example above was about body building. Once again write your article(s) as if you were talking to a friend. Submit your article to EzineArticles.com and other article directories.
6. Be sure to add a good resource link back to your website or web page.
