— Solution adds webcam video broadcast, remote printing, flash-based viewer and more
Sunnyvale, CA, November 18, 2009 — Zultys Inc., a leading manufacturer of secure and Enterprise class IP PBX phone equipment for the mid and Enterprise market, today announced MXmeetingTM 4.1, adding new features to the very successful next-generation collaboration solution and delivering an even more compelling alternative to travel. MXmeeting 4.1 adds Webcam Video broadcast, Remote printing, flash-based view-only client for improved meeting speed, an improved file transfer experience for remote support and remote access, and increased moderator control of attendee access and termination.
MXmeeting continues to provide its award winning Web conferencing, Remote PC Support, Remote PC Access, and Web seminars features as well as a 150 port Voice conference with NO monthly recurring fees. MXmeeting now combines video, voice, desktop web interaction, instant messaging, virtual meeting rooms, online presentations, file sharing, training and demonstration tools into a single system to help companies slash travel costs and respond more quickly to customer needs– all with easy to use controls.
“MXmeeting continues to lead the market with features that were previously only on large, expensive hosted systems. The rapid ROI coupled, with the functionality of MXmeeting’s collaboration tools, are the drivers for an easy purchase decision,” said Steve Morrison, VP of Product Management. “MXmeeting supports a collaboration experience that is as natural as using your laptop while rich enough to unite voice, data and video.”
MXmeeting builds on Zultys’ premier IP PBX portfolio which already supports integrated call handling, voice mail, built-in gateways, presence server, and instant messaging server for up to 10,000 users across 128 locations. Zultys MXmeeting can be easily implemented by simply adding an appliance to an existing MX250 or MX30 deployment. The solution scales as you grow and starts with as few as two meeting rooms with ten concurrent users (the M200), and grows to as many as 20 meeting rooms with 100 concurrent users (the M500). It may also be deployed standalone for companies looking to add web conferencing to an existing phone system.
MXmeeting features include:
Web conferencing: sales presentations, product demos, interactive collaboration
Web seminar: Seminars for view only attendees with no client or agent to install. Totally platform and browser independent
Webcam broadcast: use your webcam as the presenter to broadcast video to viewers
Remote support: remotely access and control anyone’s PC by Emailing them a URL
Remote Access: remotely access your own PC from anywhere, without the worry of firewalls or static IP addresses
Remote print: issue a print command to instruct a local document to be printed at 1 or all of the participants remotely.
File Upload: directly distribute files to conference attendees.
Windows 7 support and substantially improved Macintosh client support (OSX 10.6)
Zultys provides a US-based hosted audio conference service with support for up to 150 ports. This audio conference service is provided through a 3rd party at no additional charge to those purchasing MXmeeting.
