When one thinks of various wine producing regions, the warm, tropical Hawaiian Islands would not leap immediately to mind. Characteristically, majority of grape growing in the world is prepared in countries with moderate climates. But it could be observed that skiing is also a major sport in Hawaii, which means that the state could also do viticulture. These two activities are made possible in this tropical paradise due to the higher elevations of the islands’ volcanic summits and ridges.
Even though there have been no known reports of either noble red wine varieties or noble white wine varieties being effectively grown in Hawaii for commercial purposes, there are actually quite a few numbers of other grape varieties that are currently being cultivated in this state. Symphony

When this grape variety began to suffer evident losses, it gave the winery the chance to sow new varietals of grapes like Pinot Gris, Chenin Blanc, Syrah, Syrah Noir, as well as two kinds of Chardonnay. The Tedeschi Vineyards of Maui actually makes almost 30,000 cases of various wines, which includes some wines that make use of pineapple grown in Maui. This vineyard also manufactures 3 sparkling wines as well as 6 still wines.
